This flexible online course is ideal for those just starting out in the sector, or who aren’t involved in the detail of architectural ironmongery in their day-to-day job but want to gain a basic understanding of the industry.

The course covers all the basics of hardware, fire and escape doors, and access control in an affordable and convenient learning package:

  • Online learning based around 12 modules
  • Learn at your own pace, with a full six months to complete the course 
  • Self-assessment tests and examination
  • A printed certificate and access to higher-level GAI qualifications on successful completion.
